Upper Crust Beef Burgers

Upper Crust Beef Burgers - Serves 4

  • Preparation time: 25 minutes
  • Cooking time: 15 minutes

For the Burgers::

  • 700g (1lb 9oz) lean minced beef
  • 30ml (2tbsp) Knorr Touch of Taste beef
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 20ml (4tsp) cajun seasoning
For the salsa::
  • 6 tomatoes, skinned deseeded and chopped
  • 2 shallots finely chopped
  • 1 green pepper, de-seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 30ml (2bsp) white wine vinegar
  • 15ml (1tbsp) sesame seeds
  • Soured cream to serve

Get stuck in:

  • 1. Mix all the burger ingredients together, cover and chill for 30 mins.
  • 2. Put all the salsa ingredients into a bowl, cover and chill for 40 mins.
  • 3. Divide the beef mixture into 12 and shape into burgers. Grill or fry until cooked thoroughly on both sides.
  • 4. Serve the burgers with the salsa and soured cream.
